| Description | White cylinder form vessel and lid with Japanese inspired purple, blue, grey-green, dark green, orange, and brown koi fish underglaze design. Central design shows three large blue and grey-green koi fish in side profile, with large pointed orange fins. They swim against a dark green background with curled tails. Between the larger fish are pairs of smaller kois in green and blue and green and purple. There is a repeated scale pattern in grey-green on the vessel's body near the base. Barrel vessel lid is white with convex, circular shape and flat, circular handle, featuring a Japanese inspired purple, blue, grey-green, dark green, orange, and brown koi fish underglaze design. There is a repeted scale pattern in grey-green glaze, followed by a thin purple band, bordering a central design. The inner design features three purple and green kois with orange and black whiskers and pointed, orange fins. Set against a dark green ground, they swim around a brown coloured handle, with a purple, scale patterned border. |
