| Title | Statue of a Youth |
| Description | This antique white marble torso depicts a youth, possibly Bacchus, a sheepskin looped over his right shoulder and under his left arm. Second century A.D. He stands in contrapposto with his weight on his right leg and his left leg relaxed, which is even better visible from behind. His torso is slightly twisted with his left shoulder coming a bit forward, underneath that shoulder the piece of sheepskin rests, which should be continued in imagination as is visible from the small piece still visible on his hip. The marble is worn and his head, arms and lower legs are missing. |
