DescriptionWooden body, double cone shaped, painted red and gold; larger head with evidence of tuning paste attached to the interior of the membrane; cord and ring tensioning, the membranes are fitted on hoops and braced with green cotton cords in a V pattern, membrane tension increased by sliding metal tuning rings towards the larger head; tuning rings with tassels. Head diameters: 250mm and 235mm; overall diameter 289mm; head circumferences 825mm, 777mm; maximum circumference 910mm. |
