DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood; 4 sections; silver keys; 4 ivory ferrules plus [replacement] cap; graduated ivory screw-stopper, but no tuning-slide or register; large circular embouchure-hole; large R2 finger-hole. Keymount type: ring/knob. Keyhead type: flat square, notched and chamfered. Stamped with a crown and "BAINBRIDGE / LONDON". Repair History: The cap may be a replacement in synthetic ivory; keytouches for B♭, G♯ and D♯, plus whole of F key, may be replacements; repadded in cork and leather, cork added beneath keytouches and tenons relapped (returned to playing condition). |
