Technical description: Silver; 3 sections (body in one piece); raised and engraved embouchure-barrel; silver-bushed rectangular embouchure-hole with rounded corners; modern-style foot mechanism arrangement.
Engraved in script "Rudall, Rose, Carte & Co.. / 20 Charing Cross, / London. / 1867 Patent."; on back of upper body socket stamped "T.M.E.". TME [= metal flute 610].
