Description
Technical description: Wooden tripod base; wooden column with brass adjustable stem, single wooden screw; wooden lyre-shaped desk with 7 metal `strings'; adjustable angle from 0° to 90° with brass restraining screw; two metal page clips; desk width 305; minimum shelf height 880; stem pull increment up to 330.
Signed on back of desk in ink with autographs "Joseph Joachim", "Donald Francis Tovey" and "Pablo Casals".
Decorative features: Painted decoration on front of desk with guitar and wind instruments. |
