DescriptionTechnical description: Inner mould. Made of two pieces jointed at the centre of fruitwood. Cut out for top and bottom blocks and for point blocks. Eight clamping holes 18.5-19.5mm diameter, the bottom hole was originally circular but has been modified to have two straight sides. No indication as to what was the front and back. Length between the cut outs at the ends is 314mm. Current ownership: Purchased in 1983 with assitance from the Government's Local Museums Purchase Fund and the University's General Council Trust.
