Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. approximately 13.9, elliptical down to 13.5 in places, not tapered. Technical description: Wood with leather binding; ivory finger hole bushes; brass stays, bell mount, crook receiver mount, keys and crook; 6 finger holes; keys for L1, R4 and R1 arranged for right hand held under tube. Keyhead type: flat round. No inscriptions. Broken in two, also has worm holes. Allocated with and possibly formerly used with mouthpiece (1007). |
