Keymount type: ring/knob. Keyhead type: pewter plug, with metal-lined key-holes. Overall size: 598mm Sounding length: embouchure to foot: 525mm Bore: conical Stamped "WILLM HENY / POTTER / JOHNSON'S COURT / FLEET STREET / LONDON", with "PATENT" on foot and on head ferrule; tuning gradations stamped "4", "5" and "6" on tuning-slide and screw. Performance characteristics: Range D⁴ - C⁷. Plays well throughout range. Usable pitch: On 6, A⁴ c 442 Hz; on 5, A⁴ c 438 Hz; on 4, A⁴ c 435 Hz. |
