Technical description: Brass, 1 valve; two loops for sling.
Valve type: One Périnet valve, bottom sprung, alignment by key on piston.
Inscribed on bell: heraldic emblem of shield surmounted by crown with drapes at sides / "DITTA / PROF. ROMEO ORSI / Milano Italia / TRADE" emblem of two bears "MARK" / 8 petalled flower emblem / "MOD. 1884"; on side of valve casing "115".
Apparently ring for attachment of mouthpiece chain missing.
New valve piston supplied and fitted, leaks soldered, dents ameliorated by S. Benzie 19.06.98 30.06.98.
Purchased with and possibly formerly used with mouthpiece (3837).
