Technical description: Wood with leather binding; ivory finger hole bushes; brass stays, bell mount, crook receiver mount and crook; 6 finger holes, placed for right hand held under tube. Inscribed "I K" on crook. Decorative features: Red paint inside bell. Serious circumferential crack approximately 520 mm from bell. Stay nearest mouthpiece loose. 3 keys formerly present removed and holes bound over. Allocated with and possibly formerly used with mouthpiece (999). |
