Description

Technical description: Rosewood with german silver ferrules and keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Curved speaker with chimney on front of the instrument. Unusual mechanism for opening throat A♭ using any RH ring and closing it (articulated) by either of L1 or L2 ring. Patent C sharp mechanism. Was 12 keys, 5 rings, now 10 keys. R1: @I{T + ring; side F₄/C₆; side trill key for throat A-B♮ and B♭-C. R2: @I{T + spectacle. R3: @I{T + spectacle (forked B♭₃/F♮₅); cross B♭₃/F♮₅. R4: @I{G♯₃/E♭₅; F₃/C₅. Keymount type: screwed in pillars. Keyhead type: modern. Repair History: The bell is a replacement.
