Technical description: nickel-plated brass; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.5; intermediate cup shape with smoothly blended throat. Cup volume 604; shape quotient 1.067. Overall size : length 78.0; external diameter 28.5. Sounding length: cup depth c 10. Bore: cup diameter 14.9; minimum diameter 3.4 at c 22. Depth of taper: shank depth 43.8. Diameter of taper: maximum 11.8; minimum 9.5. No inscriptions. Purchased with and probably formerly used with trumpet (4226) but not original.
