4-valve compensating.
Technical description: Silver-plated brass. 4-valve compensating system. 4th valve brings loop into windway which passes through 1st, 2nd and 3rd valves, these have short additional loops which are brought into the windway when used in combination with the fourth valve. Valve type: 4 Périnet valves; `Solbron' bronze pistons. Repair History: The legs of all seven tuning-slides have been extended to lower pitch from Old Philharmonic.
