With tuning-slide at first near bow which can lower pitch by up to one tone; slide draws towards player; length of tuning-slide pull is 135mm allowing extension of air column length by nearly 270mm. Two rings for cord. Inscribed "Rexcraft / U.S. REGULATION / MADE IN U.S.A.". Overall size: 380mm (mouthpiece receiver to bell); bell 113mm Sounding length: minimum 1598mm Bore: Mouthpiece at c 20mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 10.1mm; m.t.s. at c 411mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning-slide bore 11.8mm; at 799mm from bell end, c 11.8mm; at c 301mm from bell end, 16.6mm; at 13.0mm from bell end, 63.0mm; B = 0.70. Bell cutoff = 1900Hz. Diameter of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 10.8 - 10.1mm. Performance characteristics: Well in tune from 5th natural note in G; intonation poor in F.
