Overall size: length 81.3; external diameter 41.8. Sounding length: cup depth 26.5; grain length 19; backbore length 32. Bore: cup diameter 25.0; minimum diameter 7.2. Depth of taper: shank depth 37.0. Diameter of taper: maximum 14.0; minimum 11.8. Stamped on side of cup "R.J. WARD & SONS G LIVERPOOL / GOLD MEDAL / REGD 638308", the penultimate digit not clear.
