DescriptionTechnical description: brass; semi-flat rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.25; intermediate cup shape; smoothly blended throat. Cup volume 5919; shape quotient 1.159. Overall size: length 87.5; external diameter 37.7. Sounding length: cup depth c 21. Bore: cup diameter 24.5; minimum diameter 5.6. Depth of taper: shank depth 35. Diameter of taper: maximum 13.4; minimum 11.1. No inscriptions. Lent with, possibly formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with bass horn in C (3305).
