Overall size: 522; bell 126 Bore: at c 40mm from mothpiece receiver (minimum bore) 10.7; not expanding in 100mm from mouthpiece receiver; descending slide, 10.7; ascending alide 10.7; joint, 10.7 Dia of mouthpiece receiver; m.r.t. 11.1 - 10.7 Inscribed at foot of main slide "A". Restraining nut on tuning slide missing. Usable pitch: Plays c 100 cents above A⁴ = 440 Hz with mouthpiece (1298); tuning-slide allows use at A⁴ = 439. Purchased by lender with and possibly formerly used with cornet mouthpiece (3029). |
