Technical description: Side-blown, open-ended bamboo flute with ivory ferrules and linen binding; ivory head and base; mouth-hole, nasalizing hole for membrane and 6 finger-holes on top; 4 vent-holes; diameter 22.5mm. Nasalizing membrane missing. Overall size: 690mm. Decoration: Head has incised illustration of two scholars in countryside; base has incised illustration of leaves. Illustration references: Vol. 1 p.21.
