Cup volume 1647; shape quotient 1.099. Overall size: length 61.1; external diameter 25.0. Sounding length: cup depth c 15; grain length 0. Bore: cup diameter 16.3; minimum diameter 4.4 at c 19. Depth of taper: shank depth 26. Diameter of taper: maximum shank external diameter 9.5; minimum shank external diameter 9.1. No inscriptions. Decorative features: three knurled bands on stem. Purchased by lender and possibly formerly used with cornet (4466). |
