Overall size: length 85.3; external diameter 43.4. Sounding length: cup depth 28.5. Bore: cup diameter 29.3; minimum diameter 7.5. Depth of taper: shank depth 42.7. Diameter of taper: maximum 14.8; minimum 11.7. Stamped on side of cup "ANTOINE COURTOIS / MILLE SR / BREVETÉ / 88 R DES MARAIS ST MARTIN / PARIS"; also on side of cup is an inscription in decorative script, probably "Model / G----y" but very indistinct.
