Length of shorter leg of m.t.s. 130, allowing increase of air column length by nearly 260mm. Valve type: 3 rotary valves; clock springs in drums, cork buffers mounted on valve spindles. Overall size: 890; bell 185. Sounding length: minimum 3479. Bore: mouthpipe at c 60mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore) 13.05; m.t.s. at c 363mm from mouthpiece receiver, tuning slide bores 12.95 - 13.9; centre of valve cluster at c 1684mm from mouthpiece receiver, v.t.s. bore (3,2,1) 13.9; at 1740mm from bell end, c 13.9; at c 704mm from bell end, 19.65; at mm from bell end, . B = 0.74. Bell cutoff = 900 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 13.5 13.05 (very little taper, poor circularity). Inscribed on garland "Winter & Schöner / vorm. Ign. Lorenz / Instrumenten Fabrik in Linz a/D"; on top of each valve housing "11". Decorative features: Inscribed foliage on garland. Usable pitch: Plays 70-80 cents above A⁴ = 440 Hz; main tuning-slide can be extended to allow use at A⁴ = 440 Hz.
