Technical description: Brass; semi-flat rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.5; intermediate cup shape with smoothly blended throat. Overall size : length 65.7; external diameter 26.1. Sounding length: cup depth c 14.5; grain length 11.5; backbore length 38.5. Bore: cup diameter 16.3; minimum diameter 3.9 at 17.5. Depth of taper: shank depth 30.5. Diameter of taper: maximum 10.4; minimum 9.6. Purchased with, probably formerly used with, and possibly supplied by maker with circular flugel (4238).
