Keymount type: ring/knob. Keyhead type: saltspoon. Repair History: F key and mount removed, hole plugged; pads of B♭ and G♯ keys sealed into holes. Overall size: 386 mm Sounding length: embouchure to foot, 340 mm Bore: conical Stamped on body "BLACKMAN / 93 BLACKFRIARS RD / LONDON"; stamped on head "PATENT / IMPROVED". Performance characteristics: [Original range D⁴ - A⁶ (sounding B♭⁴ - F⁷)]. Bottom register very sharp and not speaking clearly. Present usable range D⁵ - A⁶ (sounding B♭⁵ - F⁷).
