DescriptionTechnical description: Brass with german silver ferrules and stays; ivory or bone valve touchpieces. Bell without gusset; with garland (width 30mm) and wired rim. With ring for L4. The valve slides are interchangeable, so the fingering can be reversed. With crook for F. Valve type: 2 Stölzel valves; the compression spring rests on a screw passing through the casing. Repair History: The crook may or may not be original; the bell painting appears to be recent. |
