Baron de Parana tells Ewart that he has just read a translation of his article on Burchell's zebra hybrids and mares. He states he is enclosing other papers documenting his own cross-breeding experiments, including three photographs (only two photographs present). He lists the physical characteristics of the offspring resulting from his experiments and makes comparisons with those belonging to Ewart. The photographs depict a Burchell zebra and two of his hybridised offspring, all owned by Baron de Parana. |
