| Description | LHSA has accessioned a substantial photographic collection of approximately 40,000 items, comprising prints, slides, glass plate negatives and digital images. The collection is an extremely rich resource, illustrating many aspects of the development of medicine and hospitals from the mid-nineteenth century. At present the photographic collection is not fully catalogued, but LHSA has contributed some of its photographs to the SCRAN project which are available to search online at http://www.scran.ac.uk/ For further information on LHSA’s collections and services please see www.lhsa.lib.ed.ac.uk. |
