DescriptionTechnical description: Silver-plated brass, wrap with valves operated by the right hand and bell supported by the left hand. With a rotary quick-change (Tonwechsel) which selects either F (direct path) or E♭, D or C (these with their own tuning-slides); alignment of rotor by retractable pin engaging with a depression in top cap. Two main tuning-slides and two 2nd valve tuning-slides, for F, E♭, D and for C respectively. With water-key of lead-pipe, finger-ring for R4, and fitting for music-card holder., , , , , , , , , , , , , Valve type: 3 Périnet valves with balusters; top-sprung, alignment by key on piston., Repair History: An additional depression with scratched "E" has been made between the C and F depressions (there is of course no tubing for E♮). |
