DescriptionDouble clarinet (zummāra or memet). Two cane pipes, each with a removable down-beating, idioglot reed (one reed section missing). Each pipe has six finger holes. Pipes are played in unison with the players fingers covering the corresponding holes on both pipes. Pipes bound together with coarse-fibre string that has been died green.
