Technical description: German silver double-ended pipe, each end with a free reed in a german-silver reed plate; Sounding on one side A₄; on the other side C₅.
Stamped on reed plates at one end "A"; at other end "C".
Usable pitch: "A", measured frequency +/- 0.1 cents, 437.58 Hz; A4 -9.5 cents with respect to A4 = 440 Hz; -0.2 cents with respect to mean of set. "C", measured frequency +/- 0.1 cents, 520.49 Hz; C5 -9.1 cents with respect to A4 = 440 Hz; +0.2 cents with respect to mean of set.
Mean of set, -9.3 cents with respect to A4 = 440 Hz; equivalent to A4 = 437.6 Hz.
