Description
Technical description: Cocus wood with german silver keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Barrel slightly waisted, not stamped. Upper section: curved speaker, chimney on the front of the instrument, liner does not project into bore. Long tailed A♭ key. Wood recessed under speaker touchpiece. Lower section: Patent C sharp, thumb rest.

Upper section stamped "Buisson, Paris" and "1647" on back and "6 / A" under side trill key. Stamped on lower section "A / LP" and on back "1647". Stamped on bell "MADE IN FRANCE / BUISSON / PARIS". Barrel unstamped.
Repair History: Lacks side trill key, side F♮ /C♮ key, spectacle, long C# key and lever of long B♮ key; also lacks mouthpiece. |
