Description
Technical description: Cocus with german silver keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Slightly bulbous bell with two ferrules. Upper section: curved speaker, chimney on the front of the instrument, liner does not project into bore. Long-tailed (English) A♭ key. Wood recessed under throat A, speaker and cross keys to fit the touchpieces. Lower section: socket lined with metal; rod-and-axle C♮ key (arbor missing) but no patent C sharp action; shaped thumb rest.

R4: G♯₃/E♭₅; F₃/C₅.
Keymount type: pillars.
Keyhead type: modern.
Lacks mouthpiece. Lacks arbor for C. Crack in the lower section from the first finer hole to ferrule (c 13mm). |
