Engraved on top plate "G", "D", "A", "E" underneath these notes on a stave; on bottom plate "M. HOHNER'S / ``Trutone'' / MADE IN GERMANY" With cloth purse with transfer "M. HOHNER'S / Trutone / (VIOLIN) / The World's Best / MADE IN GERMANY" Usable pitch: "G", measured frequency +/- 0.1 cents, 203.16 Hz; G3 +62.1 cents with respect to A4 = 440 Hz; -8.6 cents with respect to mean of set.
