Technical description: Silver-plated brass; to be inserted between slide and bell sections of a trombone; ligature fitting to taper insert of slide section; depth of taper receiver 13.8. Length of taper to fit bell section receiver 34. Allows a semitone trill. Valve type: Périnet valve; bottom sprung.
