Description
Technical description: They consist of 10 separate pieces including one chanter and three drone sections of wood fitting into sheet brass cylindrical tubing. Chanter of cocus wood; the bore of the chanter is plugged at the bottom end and a sound hole is placed in the back of the chanter below the finger-holes. A smaller tube has been drilled out to the left, diameter approximately 4, running through the length of the chanter and formed possibly to sound a small drone reed at a lower point in the walking stick. |
