DescriptionTechnical description: Light hardwood, mounted with thin ivory sole, diameter 54, and turned to a thickness of approximately 3.5 only on its perimeter. The chanter has a characteristically simple style of turning at the neck; the tenon has been roughly carved down as if to fit a narrower stock. |
