Technical description: Two cocus wood and one black plastic (Selmer). Socket type, one with inlaid silver ferrule, one with integral wooden ferrule. All with single incised upper line for ligature. One with ligature.
Overall size: Selmer, 101.0; 96.3; 100.3.
Bore: Selmer, 16.6; 15.7; 16.7.
Inscriptions: Selmer mouthpiece stamped on frontal side with Selmer (in laurel wreath) / "PARIS / MADE IN FRANCE"; stamped on facing with "Soloist / C" star.
Decorative features: Selmer mouthpiece with looped decoration around ferrule and gilding in recesses of stamp. |
