Description
Technical description: This screw-mechanism, squared, tortoiseshell frog is attached to a board. The frog is broken in half displaying both sides and is decorated with engraved flowers that used to be filled in with metallic paint(?) traces of which remain. Its top surface is angled (\_/) to fit the stick. Ferrule width: split, so impossible to measure. Frog height: 20.33mm. Frog top length: 44.14mm.
Inscription: The board is labelled in ink on a sticker underneath: "tortoiseshell nut / silver mounts".
