Description
Technical description: This screw-mechanism, rounded, ebony frog has a hole extending from top to bottom where the screw eye hole and frog mortise meet. The frog has mother-of-pearl eyes, a silver (?) ferrule, and a nickel (?) underslide. Ferrule width: 12.88mm. Frog height: 21.00mm. Frog top length: 44.15mm.
Inscription: Labelled "F14".
It is chipped along its top edges and the pins in the underslide are very corroded. |
