Description
Technical description: This open, screw-mechanism, squared, ivory frog retains its brass screw eye. Ferrule width: 10.94mm. Frog height: 18.98mm. Frog top length: 43.28mm (measured finger side - chips off back of thumb side top edge and near front).
Inscription: "III" scratched in front of the screw eye on the top. The stamp is 4.99mm high and 12.70mm wide: "BETTS LONDON" (Components: "BETTS" 1.22mm high, 9.90mm wide; "LONDON" 1.22mm high, 12.70mm wide.). Handwritten in ink on the bottom "BETTS / LONDON" and labelled "F1".
It has a crack on the inside of its front curve. |
