Description
Technical description: This silver (?) hourglass frog has mother-of-pearl sides, mother-of-pearl flower-shaped eyes, a mother-of-pearl slide, a silver (?) ferrule, and a nickel underslide. Overall size: 60.7mm. Ferrule width: 11.52mm. Frog height: 21.25mm. Frog top length: 44.28mm.
Inscription: Labelled "F23". The underslide has "//" scratched at the front.
The ferrule does not fit well and the underslide is corroded. The octagonal ebony button with a rim has two silver (?) rings, both with cracks. The screw is rusty. |
