DescriptionTechnical description: Flexible steel blade in metal frame sounded by shaking so that wooden balls strike the blade; pitch of note controlled by flexing the blade. Wire frame/handle has wooden clamp at the wide end to secure the spring metal blade. Striker balls are mounted on thin spring steel strip secured to the blade. Balls are wooden with inserts - possibly of leather - to strike the blade. |
