B = 0.75. Bell cutoff = 900 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 11.6 - 11.0. Inscribed on bell "EXCELSIOR SONOROUS / CLASS A / HAWKES & SON / Denman Street / Piccadilly Circus / London / 46535"; near mouthpiece receiver "HAWKES / . / & SON / . / LONDON". Usable pitch: Old Philharmonic pitch. Witch black drop-in-case, possibly original. Purchased by lender with, probably formerly used with and possibly supplied by manufacturer with mouthpiece (2963).
