Technical description: Brass; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.75; intermediate cup shape; maximum throat curvature 12. Cup volume 1203; shape quotient 1.281. Overall size: length 88.2; external diameter 27.3. Sounding length: cup depth 11. Bore: cup diameter 16.2; minimum diameter 3.9. Depth of taper: shank depth 40.1. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.3; minimum 10.6. No inscriptions. Decorative features: Four milled rings and four rounded grooves at base of cup. Purchased with and possibly formerly used with fanfare in Eb (225).
