Repair History: Main tuning-slide has been extended to lower the pitch from A₄ = 452.4 Hz to A₄ = 440 Hz. Overall size: 1156; bell 178. Bore: at c 33mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 10.7; expanding by 100mm from mouthpiece receiver to bore c 11.2; descending slide, 12.3; ascending slide, 12.3; m.t.s. bore 13.9 - 18.5. Inscribed on bell "Imperial / MADE BY / Boosey & Hawkes Ltd / London / MADE IN ENGLAND"; on bell near stay "HP / 284107"; on side of tube at both sides of joint and on outer slide near joint "107". Decorative features: Counterweight in form of globe representing the world, from which streams a ribbon with a musical note. With fitted hard case, artificial leather covered, with embossed brass label inside lid inscribed "BOOSEY / and / HAWKES" on a globe.
