DescriptionTechnical description: Boxwood; 5 sections; silver keys; 10 slim silver ferrules (8 of which are in pairs); wider silver foot ferrule; [silver cap]; metal-lined head; ivory screw-stopper; slim touches for long keys; wood-covered (non-graduated) tuning-slide; large oval embouchure-hole, bushed with ivory; large finger-holes especially L2, R2; overlapping low C/C♯ touches. Keymount type: knob, with metal-lined channels for all except upper C, long F and upper mount for low C/C♯; double springs on G♯, long F, D♯; metal pins through long F keymounts. Keyhead type: pewter plug, screwed to keyheads; metal-lined key-holes, metal key-hole surrounds on foot. |
