Signature marks: Inscribed on bell "MADE BY / C.G. Conn Ltd. / ELKHART-IND. / U.S.A."; on inner and outer slides at mouthpipe "2"; on inner slide near joint "227688"; on outer slide near joint "5H" / 227688" / six-pointed star; on bell section at joint "5H"; on m.t.s. and bell section at distal end of m.t.s. "20D"; on balance weight "C.G. Conn Ltd." within scroll. Overall size: 1177; bell 177. Sounding length: minimum 2727. Bore: at c 35mm from mouthpiece receiver (minimum bore), 10.7; descending slide, 12.1; ascending slide, 12.2; m.t.s. proximal leg bore, 14.3; at c 618mm from bell end, 17.25; m.t.s. distal leg bore, 18.5; at 30.3mm from bell end, 100.6. B = 0.69. Bell cutoff = 800 Hz. Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 12.1 - 11.3. Decorative features: Foliage pattern inscribed on bell around inscription. Playing accessories: Balance weight. With shaped fitted black side opening Conn case, possibly original. High pitch tuning slide only is missing. Usable pitch: A4 = 439 Hz.
