Technical description: Silver-plated brass; medium rim contour; maximum bite curvature 1.5; intermediate cup shape with tapered throat having minimum bore at c 7mm beyond bottom of cup; maximum throat curvature 12. Cup volume 1245; shape quotient 1.149. Overall size: length 80.7; external diameter 27.0. Sounding length: cup depth 9.5. Bore: cup diameter 17.7; minimum diameter 4.1. Depth of taper: shank depth 35.5. Diameter of taper: maximum 12.3; minimum 9.6. No inscriptions. Purchased by lender with straight trumpet in Bb (877).
