DescriptionTechnical description: Cocus; 3 sections; german silver keys; 4 german silver ferrules; screw-stopper; no tuning-slide, but upper tenon long with metal lining and outer casing plus cork lapping; lower tenon short with metal outer casing; oval embouchure-hole; medium-sized finger-holes; leather-covered pads; modern-style foot mechanism arrangement. L0: @I{B♭. L1: @I{T. L2: @I{T. L3: @I{PL - G. L4: @I{G♯; long F. R1: @I{T; C. R2: @I{T. R3: @I{PL - D; cross F. R4: @I{D♯; low C♯; low C. Keymount type: rod/pillar, with needle springs for covered action, G♯, cross F and foot keys; leaf springs for B♭, C, long F. Keyhead type: shallow cup for 8-key action; cylinder cup for covered action. Repair History: Foot may not be original (wood appears to be different, fits poorly, but mechanism and ferrule match design of other sections). |
