Dia of mouthpiece receiver: m.r.t. 11.8 - 11.2. Inscribed on bell "CLASS / A / Zephyr / 50 MEDALS OF HONOUR / F B / BESSON & CO / Prototype / 198 EUSTON ROAD / LONDON / BATT / YORK REGT.", the last two lines are defaced and further letters followed `BATT'; inscribed on bell section at joint "7345"; on slide section at mouthpiece receiver "BESSON & CO / BREVETES / 7345"; on outer slide nearest mouthpiece "7345".
